Your life is by divine design. What you seek is seeking you! Ahhhhh!

As you practice your AH meditation this month keep in mind that the thing you deeply desire is your soul calling you forward and it is by divine design. It is your inner guidance encouraging you to grow, develop and unfold to your best self now. So know that in divine's mind what you want is already done.

The new affirmations this month are about calling up opportunity for your perfect self expression. When we are doing our divine work we are happy, alive and it barely feels like work at all. Divine pay always comes with your divine work but you must lay your fears to rest and know that you already have what it takes and you are perfect in every way. Know that what you are seeking is also seeking you. Make yourself available by amplifying love and gratitude daily. What I sow Is what I reap What I seek Is seeking me All good comes my way Divine work Divine pay I am a magnet for success I now lay my fears to rest Limitations now released I fulfill my destiny I have what it takes I am perfect in every way I expect the unexpected I give thanks it's on it's way And so it is! The power of the universe now works on my behalf. My life is by divine design. I now walk confidently in the direction of my dreams knowing I will receive all the guidance that I need. Have a great weekend. Love, Patricia

Ready set meditate for 30 days! 30 day challenge begins May 27th!

I hope you are prepared and ready to go. Set your alam for 20 minutes earlier and get ready to start seeing results in as little as 24 hours!  Thursday May 27th the 30 day manifesting challenge.
One thing I forgot to suggest to you yesterday is not to share what you are intending with others. Keep your intentions to yourself until after they manifest. If you share with cynical or pessimistic people they simply might say something that might discourage you from sticking to your commitment.
If you are interested in hearing about this meditation from Wayne Dyer's guru google "Ah meditation Siva Baba". It's interesting!
Please keep posting here or on facebookl about your results, questions and comments. It is so inspiring and your sharing really helps others stay inspired and committed. What we build as a community is much stronger than what we build on our own.
Get ready to live the life of your dreams and remember ask and it is given, expect to see results, and so it is! Give thanks every single day knowing what you want is on it's way. No person, circumstance or event can keep from you what the universe has in store for you. What the universe wants for you is what you want for yourself.
Sweet dreams! Patricia

If you are serious about living a life you really love in a body you love then in my opinion meditation is essential. That is why I am suggesting this 30 day prosperity challenge. The actual start of the 30 days is May 27th so you can prepare yourself, get the cd and maybe even try it once before Thursday. You will have MANY excuses as to why you simply can't do it. Don't believe any of them! It is simply your old self trying to keep you where you are. You cannot become who you want to become by remaining who you are. Just make it important. Try to schedule it in first thing in the morning same time every day. I get up, brush my teeth and wander sleepily to the couch. Early morning is the best time to do it but if you are living with other people you may need to either get them to join you, go outside, or find another time. The first few times you do it you may feel anxious, impatient, restless or self conscious. Just do it anyway. It will pass and it is worth it. It is amazingly powerful when done in a group. If you have friends or family members you can get on board with it bring them in. Even invite you children to do it. What a blessing to have this practice early in life. Don't assume they won't want to, invite them. FAQ Can I only think of one thing per 20 minute meditation? How I do it is I have in my mind or I have previously written down what my intentions are. If I have 3 I do the first 5 or so minutes on one, then 5 or so minutes on the next one etc. My sister does one for herself and one for her son. (she just told me yesterday that her son's SAT scores jumped 30 points after doing this meditation to nearly a perfect score) Can you Ah for someone else? Wayne Dyer says yes you can and my sister does it for her son and husband all the time and with extremely powerful results. I always add some for others. I think it might even help for some people to feel the desire to help someone else more deeply than themselves. Try it and see what you think. Does it have to be in the morning? I do it in the morning because it was suggested that it is time that your mind is less restless and the outside world is more calm. My feeling is morning is probably best but anytime is better then not at all. Do I have to do the evening meditation as well? This particular challenge is for 30 days of the AH or morning meditation. Certainly doing the evening meditation as well is fantastic. My intention is to help you get started with a daily routine. I suggest you do it if you feel ready to add that in as well but the most important thing at this point is to simply create a habit of a daily meditation practice. Last tip: Remember it is about feeling the emotion of Joy, fulfillment, relief that it is taken care up. If you have a hard time feeling it at first don't worry. There is no wrong way to do it. Just simply commit to doing it daily and know great things are happening for you. Download Meditations for manifesting at audible.com or buy it on amazon.com. But if can't get it online google it on youtube and listen to it for free online. Remember, 30 days in a row. PLEASE post your results no matter how big or small on the wall. It will inspire us all. Let us know if you did it, how it feels, if you have any questions, breakthroughs or insights. Share, share, share! Love, Patricia

30 day Prosperity Challenge. Are you committed to prospering now?

HI everyone, I am excited to introduce to you the next 30 day challenge that I am SURE if you commit to it you will see incredible results in any area of your life. This month I have been teaching about prosperity: "The state of flourishing, thriving, success, or good fortune. Prosperity often encompasses monetary wealth but also includes happiness and health." The teachings of Sati life all revolve around how to live a life you love in a body you love and that means living a prosperous life. Over the years I have been offering intenSati classes, workshops and have written the book The intenSati method in order to inspire people as well as provide clear and definite actions to take to improve their life. One thing I rarely share about that is a big part of my daily practice is meditation. Over the years I have practiced many different forms of meditation and the one that I find the most powerful and life altering is the meditation for manifesting by Wayne Dyer. I am now teaching it in my intenSati classes and will be doing a workshop that will incorporate it and how to do it at pure yoga east on June 20th from 4-6pm. I will do a yogasati class followed by the meditation and a short 30 minute workshop on clarifying your intentions and designing your life. If you want more info email rsvp@intenSati.com. But for now, I would like to offer you the challenge of taking on this meditation for the next 30 days. You can buy the guided version on aubile.com or you can find it on youtube and you can listen to it for free. It is called meditations for manifesting by Wayne Dyer. This is the meditation I committed to for 30 days before I finally got pregnant. It is also the meditation I introduced to my sister Norma years ago when she was dealing with a life threatening illness and was committed to her healing. She has experienced miraculous results. Most people don't want to bother with meditation for one reason or another and I usually only recommend it to people who come to me and are seriously ready to make a change or feel desperate. Last weekend I was in Palo Alto on my book tour and spent time with my family. My sister Norma and I were sharing about all the amazing results we had been experiencing and everyone was so inspired we actually got even our most pessimistic family members to participate in the meditation. My family is now committed to doing it for 30 days in a row. I thought it would be a great time to offer you the challenge to do the same. Meditation is a powerful transformation technology and I believe an essential part of living a prosperous life. Join me for the next 30 days. I highly encourage you to come to the workshop, class, download the cd and commit to 20 minutes a day for the next 30 days. Doing it in a group is really powerful so get your friends and family involved. Also, post your results on the wall so we all can be inspired. Don't forget, claiming your results, praising them and sharing them are an important part of deepening your faith in the power you have to change your life. You are blessed with the keys to your success, but are you using them? Let me know if you have any questions. Love, Patricia

Keep the momentum. Challenge day 29

I hope this past month you have learned some new things about yourself and have gained some new insights. New insights leads to new results. The important thing is to keep the momentum going because the over time things get easier and easier. But remember over time negative habits get easier too so the sooner you give up the old and replace it with the new, the easier it is to remain healthy and happy.

Stay informed
It is always much easier for me to make healthy choices when I stay inspired and remember how important it is for my health to keep high quality food in my body. Be interested in keeping positively healthy information coming to you.

Make a list
Make a list of the changes that were really positive and made a difference for you. Write down the new action and the reasons why you really want to keep it in your life long term so you remember how good you feel. This positive reinforcement will help you stay tuned in to what works specifically for you

Share
If you find something works for you share the info with a friend. The more you are surrounded by informed and inspired people the easier it is to maintain positive changes

challenge yourself
Keep yourself moving in a positive direction by looking for ways to challenge yourself self physically. Make sure your workout routines is varied and fun and is constantly changing

Try something new
When you get into the habit of upgrading your lifestyle it becomes easier and easier. We outgrow habits but forget to let them go. By constantly being willing to add new vegetables, fruits, grains, recipes, workouts, information and inspiring people into your life you will continue to be inspired, feel great and know that the process of living a life you love in a body you love is simply being willing to change as your lifestyle changes.
Keep it fresh

To Celebrate

How does your environment effect your choices?

I just arrived in Northern California. I am visiting my family and also continuing my book tour. Today I am teaching a class at Google and then San Francisco Equinox at 5:30. If you want a free pass send an email to rsvp@intensati.com.
How does your environment influence you? When I was growing up our home was filled with all the junk food you could imagine. Every morning we had fresh donuts, my dads favorites. We made our own lunches which usually consisted of potato chips and ding-dongs and dinner was always a great meal but rarely did we see a salad or vegetable that wasn't fried. I think it was one of the reasons I was so eager to move out in my early 20's. It was just simply too hard to make healthy choices when surrounded by all that food.
As I moved into my own space it became easier when I finally learned that one very important things was simply not to have in the house, those things I didn't want to eat. I often wanted to think that I could have a box of cookies in the cupboard and have just one once in a while.
Coming home often reminds me of those days. I have 10 brothers and sisters and when I come to visit I stay with my sister Norma who keeps her home full of great healthy food. lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and all the things I love. It's makes it so easy to eat well. She is now raising her son in a very different way then I was raised and I can see how he won't have those same challenges with food I did. What a blessing. Does your environment support you or challenge you? If you live in a home with others and you don't have full control of the environment then I suggest you keep stocking it with great things you love and that help you make great choices. Maybe you will influence those around you.
If you travel home or to places where you know it might trigger you or be challenging and you want to stick to your healthy choices plan ahead. Instead of being influenced try influencing your environment and inspiring others and being a leader in a crowd. Not only will this empower you but just might inspire someone else.
Have a great day. Choose wisely and with love, Patricia

Challenge day 22 The power of habit. To drink or not to drink coffee

I have been hearing about so many or your great success stories. It is so inspiring! I love it. Congratulations. The good and the bad about coffee. For you coffee lovers out there... Is coffee really that bad for you? I have an opinion for sure. First i will let you know that I was a 3 venti a day coffee drinker and some of those were with an extra shot of espresso, sometimes two. I was pretty set in my ways and not really interested in giving it up. Much of the the info in the article below is what made a huge difference for me. Cut and paste in your browser to read http://www.drkaslow.com/html/coffee-caffeine.html Quotes from the book "The power of habit" The things we do every single day become our habits. Drinking coffee is simply one of those many of us do as daily ritual or habit. Just like any habit, it is just a habit and it can be replaced by another one, a healthier one. "You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine" The power of habit. "If you can win complete mastery over self, you will easily master all else. To triumph over self is the perfect victory." You simply can have no chance of changing your life and reaching your full potential without a high degree of self-mastery. You can develop this self mastery but doing something you don't want to do everyday. it is not about conquering the habit but gaining mastery of yourself. Something to ponder. Love, Patricia May 12th event I am doing a workshop on manifesting this wednesday night at 630pm called Paving the Way. Klounge 30 west 52nd street between 5/6 2nd floor at Bombay Palace. donation$15.00 in advance $20.00 at the door. Net proceeds will be donated to animal rescue charities. Bring a pen and paper. Challenge day 19! Two great foods to add to your menu today!

Permanent weight loss comes through an inner transformation. When we have an epiphany, a new insight or when we make a clear decision. When the decision has been made an a new path in life is chosen, the weight is already lost.
I love to read books by David Wolfe who promotes a raw diet. Here are some tips from his book "eating for beauty"Eating For Beauty
We have already gone over what to eliminate in order to lose weight but just to remind you. The two biggest elements to limit and eliminate are: starchy carbs such as baked potatoes, rice, bread, pasta, chips and cooked fats such as high-fat meat and pasteurized dairy foods.
To promote the health of your thyroid is to feed the thyroid with coconut oil and coconut products, kelp, brazil nuts (3-4 each day) fruits rich in vitamin C and foods high in B vitamins.
Add radishes to your meals. According to David Wolfe radishes are perhaps the most beautifying of all foods. Radishes are one of the highest source of vitamin C. They are used in Russia for both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. They help keep thyroid hormones in balance, allowing one to maintain perfect weight.
Radishes also contain quite a bit of folic acid (vitamin B9) making them great nerve strengtheners.
Radishes are kidney cleansers and decrease water retention and improve elimination. Radish juice is effective in helping to alleviate teh pain caused by kidney stones or and can even help dissolve kidney stones.
What I love about reading books by David Wolfe is we learn so much about how certain foods can heal and beautify the body. I believe if we are eating a diet rich in organic plants, fruits and vegetables our body celebrates it by feeling good and getting back into balance which includes a high working metabolism.
So today think about adding radishes and coconut products to your diet! Enjoy! Happy Mothers day Love, Patricia Stop by the Adidas store today at 4pm in soho for a free intenSati class and some shopping. I will be there but Lindsay Davis is leading! Hope to see you there.

The challenge continues. Drink up and save the environment too!

I went to great event on Thursday night. A fundraiser for energyup.org. IntenSati is the official workout for this program. I was honored with the "Fit" award. It is a program for to help fight teenage obesity and type 2 diabetes. A great program. Happy to be a part of it. At the end of the evening everyone got a gift bag and one of the gifts was "Clean plates NYC" A guide to healthiest tastiest restaurants in Manhattan. Check it out. Something to think about from "Clean Plates" Do you drink bottled water? Americans use two million plastic bottles every five minutes. Imagine them all stacked up in a pile. The amount of oil needed to make these bottles equals about 13 million barrels a year. Even recycling them means using more fossil fuels. Opt for filtered water when available possible. I found a great alternative. I love seltzer water or carbonated water. Did you know you can bottle your own seltzer water. Go to sodastream.com. You get water bottles, a carbonation machine and flavors to add if you want. ( suggest you skip the added flavors and just add a squeeze of lemon, lime or a dash of your favorite juice instead). I am thrilled with it. No more plastic bottles to recycle, you can make your water as fizzy as you want it and you can make it with filtered water! If you don't like that option, buy a great water bottle and a water filter and reduce the amount of plastic you use as you increase the amount of water you drink. Two great things! Have a happy mothers day! Love, Patricia If you are in NYC stop by the Adidas store in Soho for a free intensati workout led by Lindsay Davis. I will be there too. It starts at 4:00!

Challenge day 17. Blessings

I am just wondering if it is strange to put peanut butter in my plain yogurt? That was my dinner this evening but I wasn't sure if that was a strange pregnancy concoction or actually just a really good idea. Try it, I liked it! Question of the day, do you bless your food? Part of the sati lifestyle is about bringing more love and gratitude into our lives and how that deeply effects our health, well being and happiness. Seeing food not just as something we do every day but understanding that real, healthy, whole, organic food actually has healing qualities. There is so much we can do to improve out lives when we choose quality, high vibrational, life giving nutrition. One way we can develop a higher level of love and gratitude for our food is simply to take a few seconds before we put any food in our mouth and bless it. Saying a mental prayer of gratitude or setting an intention that this food we eat nourishes us perfectly helps us to take a moment and affirm that perspective. That then leads to making more mindful choices about what we actually put into our mouth. You can do is silently or out loud with others but however you choose to do it, that simply gesture can render beautiful results. " I bless this food and all those who had a hand in preparing it" "I am grateful for this meal and the nourishment it provides" "My body now restores itself to perfect weight and perfect health with this meal" "I appreciate that my body uses what it needs and easily eliminates the rest" If you have a blessing you particularly love, share it with us on the "I love my body" wall. I would love to hear yours. Enjoy! Patricia

Boost your metabolism Challenge day 17 Can you slow down?

May 8th 12:00 HIghline
If you are going to go see laughing pizza I forgot to tell you that if you want the Sati special price you have to order your tickets online go to:
http://www.ticketweb.com/t3/sale/SaleEventDetail?dispatch=loadSelectionData&eventId=1274305 and type in discount code "Sati" for your 10$ tickets.
SLOW is the way to go!
How fast do you eat. When you are chewing one bite do you already have the next bite on your fork or in your hand ready to go? Take notice today and see if you can deliberately slow yourself down. Even if you think you eat slowly already pay extra attention to chewing your food, tasting it, enjoying it and swallowing it. Put your fork down and simply enjoy the process of eating, nourishing and loving the whole experience.

When we chew our food completely it helps our digestive system. The digestion of the food begins in the mouth. Try counting how many times you actually chew one bite. Can you chew it 20 times?

Look around and notice how others eat. Are rushing through a meal or savoring and enjoying it. Who are you most like?

This is a great practice to help you see food differently. When you honor what you are putting in your body, tasting it and enjoying it you become more aware and conscious and it is then easier to notice when you are over eating , eating emotionally or rushing and at that moment you have an opportunity to make a different choice, a choice that represents who you choose to become.

Tips for today:
Count how many times you chew before you swallow
increase the number and practice chewing 20 times
put your fork or food down between bites until you fully swallow
don't speak with food in your mouth
pay attention to how your food really tastes, smells, feels
have a meal alone and without your phone, book or computer
make eating a sacred experience and fully enjoy it
notice how others around you eat

This is your Sati practice. You cannot become who you want to be by remaining who you are. What are you willing to improve today?

Enjoy it!
Love
Patricia

Challenge day 16! How do you prioritize your day? If not now, when?

How do you prioritize your time?
What do you choose more often?
TV or working out?
Sleeping in or working out?
Talking on the phone or working out?
Working late or working out?
Shopping or working out?
Drinks after work or working out?

One of the biggest complaints I hear from people is that they simply don't have enough time. If that is your excuse take a good look and how you invest your time. It is amazing when you commit to getting it in no matter what, it all seems to just work out.
I know for myself that if I don't get it in 5 days a week my work suffers because I don't feel as energized, inspired or happy. I am very busy too so on the days that I am doing cardio, I find ways to multi task. Here are a few of my favorites:

I download audio books and only listen to them when I am doing cardio.

If I want to watch TV I go to the gym and watch TV and do the eliptical machine.

If i want to talk on the phone with friends and family, I do it while on a stationary bike or power walking. I also invite them to join me in person or virtually while they are doing the same thing.

If I have 20 minutes to workout somewhere in my day I take it instead of totally blowing it off.

I schedule it in and I rarely take it off my schedule. If I do have to shuffle things around I make sure I know where I can add it back in.

I also made it my career so that no matter what I had to workout. You can do that too, become an intenSati leader!

Just like anything, If you really want to fit it in you can. When you throw around the excuse that you don't have enough time you simply limit yourself to doing what you have been doing instead of challenging yourself to get creative.

Working out regularly has been found to be as effective as anti-depressants and it is safer and has no harmful side effects. It is an essential part of living a life you love in a body you love.

30 minutes 5 times a week! Can you do it? Will you do it? If not now, when?

Love your body today!
Patricia

Challenge day 15! Be the master of your fate. Prepave your day.

May 7th 6:30-8:30 one night only! I hope you will join me this Friday night at the TSalon for a great night of conversation on how to deeply honor yourself and how powerful transformation happens when you shift from fear to love miracles happen. You can RSVP at www.shop.satilife.com You are the master of your fate. Celebrate it! Prepave your day. Set it, see it, celebrate it, appreciate it! Every morning when I get up I do the same thing to start my day. I prepave have I want' my day to do. I start with a 20 minute meditation. (My favorite meditation is Wayne Dyer's meditation for manifesting) I rarely walk out the door without first mentally intending how I want it to go. Try these simply steps to get into the habit of intending your day. When you are working on building new habits you have to do something new. Set it: Set an intention. "Today I intend to get through my day with ease and joy" See it Close your eyes and mentally see your day going with ease and feel the joy of it as if it is already done. If you are worried about making good food choices see yourself choosing with ease and joy. If you have a stressful day or a you are worried about something, play it through in your mind the way you want it to happen instead of the way you are worried it might happen.
Celebrate Know it is done. Celebrate the outcome before you see evidence of it. Keep the vision clear in your mind until you can feel it so deeply that you get that happy feeling inside and mentally repeat "It is done unto me as I believe, and I believe it is done, and so it is"
Appreciate When you amplify the vibration of love an gratitude you amplify your ability to receive all the gifts life has to offer you. Life is always working for your benefit but you must in available for it. Being in the state of appreciation will keep you in that state of availability. Use any opportunity you can to feel grateful, loving and good.
Prepave your day. Instead of wondering or hoping it will all turn out, use your power of intention and intend your day! It takes just a few minutes in the morning to do this and being the deliberate creator of your day will make each day a joy!
You are the master of your fate. Celebrate it. Love, Patricia

Did you overeat? Don't panic. Forgive, forget, learn, move on!

What's the best plan of action if one day you overeat? Just get back the routine that works for you. The worst thing to do is to starve yourself. That will just encourage the roller coaster ride and the yo-yo mentality. Just stay calm, notice what you did that didn't feel good and really try to take a look at why you made the choices you made. It is very important not to beat yourself up and simply ask yourself how you can make a better choice today, and do your make to make it. Here are some quick tips: 1. keep a journal so you can see what circumstances led to making a choice you weren't happy with. 2. Remember, feeling guilty or ashamed does not burn calories nor make it all disappear and will negatively impact your relationship to food. If you find yourself lingering mentally in the drama or beating yourself up over and over again find a way to shift your attention. Put on some music, go jumprope, read a book, take a shower, but don't keep the negative recording playing over and over! It is the worst thing you can do. Forgive, forget and learn. 3.When you do have a day where you are proud of the choices you made celebrate, write about it, share about it so that you deeply imprint the good feeling into your memory and build your confidence. 4.If there is a certain food that triggers you to overeat make sure you do not have it in your home. 5. Have a plan in place for days like these. For instance make a deal with yourself like, "if I overeat I will add 30 minutes to my workout tomorrow" or "I will not watch TV" If you know this in advance you it may help you not to add the extra helping to your plate. The whole intention of this 30 day challenge is to increase your level of self awareness and practice making new choices throughout your day that will lead you to feeling better and better. Do it with love and self respect and remember, you can never criticize yourself happy or successful! Just keep moving forward, one day at a time. If not now, when? Love, Patricia

Sati Life Challenge 12 Do you have a vision? May 1, 2010

Have you taken a moment to create a vision of yourself and your relationship to your body and food? If not, this is a great time to do it. Making changes in long term changes and not just yo-yo dieting or making changes for a short amount of time and then going back to your old habits requires a clear vision of who you really want to be and why you want it.

I know that one of the reasons I challenged myself to overcome a major eating disorder was because I knew that I could not live the life I really wanted to live if I was miserable, depressed, going up and down in my weight and feeling out of control. I knew if I didn't make some real changes I would never be able to live the life I really wanted to live.

In my book The intenSati method I talk much more about this. But what is your vision? What would it take for you to feel free, in control and living in a body that suits your best self. "You must do that thing that you think you cannot do" Who are you willing to be. Here are some examples...

I easily and effortlessly choose foods that are healthy.
I enjoy working out and I always find ways to challenge myself.
I enjoy practicing self discipline and actually saying No thank you and mean it.
I can have "just one" and walk away feeling great.
I have self control and it feels heavenly.
I am free

Then ask yourself Why? If you have a big enough Why you can get yourself to do anything. Now make a list of why your really, really want it. Make the list as real as possible and keep it bright in your mind and it will pull your forward!

You cannot become who you really want to become by remaining who you are!
Take a moment and write your list.
Love,
Patricia
